The last weeks have been incredible fishing – in many regions – from north to south!
Savage Gear fitted a handful of Top fishing kayaks for predator fishing – in Co-operation with Danish Hobie Kayak distributor “Kajakkæden” and Finish Lowarance and Savage Gear distributor OPM!
The launch and premiere of the Savage Hobie Mirage Proangler M12’s have been amazing – with some great adrenaline packed fishing for Pike in some of the booming estuarine areas in the Baltic region!

The dominating lure on the big shallow reefs and weed beds – still is the unrivalled19cm 4Play Swim and Jerk in Natural colors - like Brown Burbout, Perch, 3D pike, etc.
From Norway, the Nordic big game season comes to a close – and once again most guides report – that Savage Gear’s Herring Cutbait remains the nbr. 1 Halibut lure - with the highest average in numbers of fish and average size!
We end the season with one more amazing fish on the Herring Cutbait– Danish Angler, Jens Petersen, hooked, landed and released – and incredible beast Halibut of 214cm and approx. 135kg – again the Puffin color did the trick!!
Big Congratz to Jens, who fish with the skilled guides from NSA(Nordic Sea Angling) with the amazing fish - that makes new Camp Record for NSA and offcourse new PB for Jens!
