Vänern tur til Team Frederik

Vänern rapport :
"Hej Jan
 Vi har lige været en tur på Vänern i uge 46 med udgangs havn fra Mellerrud fik 4 dage fiske ud af 5 vejret er jo noget udstabil på denne åsrtid men vi fik 7 laks med hjem fra 4-6,5 kg .Har lavet lidt stadistik på turen - vi havde 35 hug og 25 fisk i båden så det lover godt for de kommende års fiskeri på Vänern, i Tirsdag´s mistede vi 4 laks lige bag om båden alle omkring 4-5 kg men sådan er fiskeri jo også fiskene skal jo også have en chance :o) så der var rigtig gang i fiskeriet der, jeg har fisket på Vänern siden 99´ og jeg kan næsten ikke mindes der har været så godt....De vælter fisk op over hele søen."

Møn fredags rapport :"Hej Jan,

Så kom Endurance version 2.0 på vandet igen. Gaster var Michael Jespersen og Henrik formand. Vi mistede 2 og fik denne på 9.5 ved 40 meteren. "

Andreas, our German pro angler and chief guide fromwww.boddenabenteuer.de have had the most amazing big Perch fishing – casting cranks in the southern Baltic over 2-3m deep areas with plenty of weedbeds – the 13cm 4Ply Lowrider and the Diving Prey63 giving him some insane results – topped by an absolute huge fish of 51+cm and 2900g!! (6lbs+)

Now that is a serious Perch – build like a Carp! We congratulate Andreas with this Perch of a lifetime!!

Also Croatian Fishing Start teamed up with Edgars from Team Savage East and Mads Grosell – for some serious Perch fishing in Denmark – several big fish landed on the new great 3D prey series – fished twitch bait style!

This week the first 3D herring shads landed in the shops and straight away – topped by a brute fish for Danish anglers Christian Mygind Hedegaard og 120cm and 14,85 kg – this fish like many others the past week smashed brutally the 3D Herring shad in 19cm!

Loads of reports ticking in as we speak – simply incredible Savage fishing!!

Slut for Havbassen

"Hej Jan.Ja den sluttede fangst mæssigt samtidig med at vinden lagde sig. Vi fik de to fisk og vinden gik kold. Herefter mærkede vi intet. Da vi kom ind, var der godt nok mange som intet havde fået, så vi skal vidst ikke klage. Kun over at vi skulle hjem igen :-)"

Big pikes on Westin Platypus
From Norway and Sweden we have some great reports on big pikes caught on Westin Platypus lures.
Erik “Pikewallis” Walmann from Norway is one of the most well-known pike fishing profiles in Norway and together with a handful of friends he is running Scandinavia’s most popular predator fishing blog –­http://pikewallis.blogspot.no/ . According to Erik, he and the Westin Platypus lure has become very good friends lately. November 10^th Erik was using the 19 cm natural Pike colored Platupus while fishing in the Mjøsa lake. He was fishing on top of a plateau at a depth of 2-3 meters when he caught a 112 cm long and 10.2 kg heavy pike.
Not only does Swedish lure maker Kristian “Stampe” Stam –www.stampelures.se – make some fantastic hand carved and custom painted lures. He is also a very skilled pike angler who isn’t afraid to experiment with other lures than his own. Early summer he bought a “concealed fish” colored 19 cm Platypys and liked the action. Since then the lure has been used for a lot of spin fishing and a lot of pikes including two fish over 10 kg. The first of these was caught a couple of weeks ago and measured 113 cm / 11.3 kg. It was caught while fishing in open water in an area with a depth of 12 meters and it attacked almost immediately after the lure hit the water.
Stampes latest catch on the same Platypus lure is even more impressive. This time he was fishing in a 5-6 meter deep area when a pike took the lure close to the boat. The fight was the toughest battle against a pike Stampe has ever fought. Luckily the odds turned in his favor and the pike weighed in at impressive 13.3 kg and 127 cm.
