Trout norwegian way.

News from Kinetic / Fairpoint Outdoors

85 trout’s-Wauw!

Norwegian trout fishing can be really entertaining if the place and timing is right. Brian Jørgensen from Kinetic had both things right, when he was fishing in the area near the cities Stryn and Førde in “Sogn og Fjordane” county. During his visit he caught around 85 brown trout’s. The vast majority of these fish were caught using small nymphs on his class 3 Greys rod or his 5 foot class 2 Hardy Aln Glass rod.

When it comes to some of the bigger fish lure fishing is usually quite efficient. The trout’s in this area rarely grow over 40 cm, but by serving a small 10 g Atomskjea in cobber/black close to the bottom in some of the deeper holes, Brian also managed to catch some bigger fish exceeding this length.
