Daniel Van Der Kraan and his buddy Alrik have been busy fishing a big river in Holland recently, and they have had massive success with some big perch and weighty pikes.
Here is what Daniel has to say about the latest trip:
'Today Alrik and me targeted the river pike again armed with a bunch of pearl white Savage Gear Rattleshads. After the success of last week, I was curious if they would deliver again. Well they did!
After I already caught two nice fish that both inhaled the lure, I had another good hit at the end of the day. The fish was incredibly strong pulling the tip of my Big Lure & Jerk rod into the water with brute force!
Alrik grabbed the folding net and I managed to get the pike in before she disappeared under our boat again. The Rattleshad was completely out of sight within her huge mouth. I got the hook out quite easily and Alrik took some nice pictures to remember this amazing fish. The length was 116 cm and the fish weighed 23lbs 14 oz'.
