The Cod fishing in the sund between Denmark and Sweden – is red hot at the moment – a good session seeing 50 cod hit the deck on the great Savage Gear sandeels!!
Most fish are between 1 and 3 kg but bigger fish also lurk around the edges of the drop offs – fish to almost 10kg on the ultra light gear – make incredible sport!!
Vertical jigging with light gear and super sandeel jigs – out fish traditional pilks big time this period – where the cod are aggressively hunting for prey up even pelagic!
