Some record breaking reports this week!!
From Croatia we got this one:
Here is the picture of 106 kg and 247 cm long catfish caught on the Savage Gear Freestyler 17cm lure in firetiger. The fish was caught on the Vransko lake near Pakostane and lucky angler is Zdravko Mađarević. Vransko jezero is the biggest natural lake in Croatia. It is 12 km long an 4 km wide, but relatively shallow, 4-5 meters tops. It is right next to the sea, there is a certain percentage of salt in the lake too. The lure was steady retrieved for pike, when this absolute giant hit it.This could for sure be the biggest catfish caught on spinning outfit in Croatia!
The Freestyler is Zdravko Mađarević’s main pike lure and Vransko lake has a great population of pike..shallow water full of weed.

From France this one came in:
Here are pics from the biggest fish ever caught in France during a competition (Open AFCPL Tournon)!!!. This catfish measuring 2,06m long (approx. 60kg) and was caught by French Savage Gear Team member Kévin Hernandez on a 15cm Cannibal shad and a Savage Gear Big Lure & Jerk 7'up to 80g.
The cannibal shad is GREEEAT for big predators!
