Yesterday, Savage Gear Product manager Mads Grosell was out. Finally the weather and ice conditions left a perfect window of opportunity on a very, very beautiful Sunday on the sound between Denmark and Sweden!
Danish Trolling specialist Claus M.Jensen teamed up with Mads on the Okuma Warrior boat, and the team had a great day with 4 silver seatrout and 35 nice cod! Best lure was The herring spoons in Lemon back color and the new Flat Jack in YG (yellow Green) color. Mads & Claus also tried the new 4Play Lip Skull rigged up with 25-30cm herring, fished on the down rigger. The bigger cod went crazy for this bait - trolled through the tops of the many herring schools! Most fish were caught at 35-45feet over 60-70feet at 2,5kts speed!
