Alaska flynder og laks.

Can't get any better...
Hi Jan,
Sorry for the period of no contact, we had a Satellite Internet problem. A kind guest with some satellite Internet experience got us back up and running a couple of days ago.
Fishing has been on fire as I sit down and write this note. We are catching fish in 5 different spots and the Halibut are just going off, at a couple of our big fish spots.
The ocean is pretty much alive everywhere these days. Lots of fish in every age class and Coho that starting to be pain in the butt.
I can tell you that we are going to have a huge Coho return to the Stamp River this year as this is most Coho we have ever had on the coast. Last years return was 68,000 and this year I would say there are double the amount of Coho in the ocean this year. If you want to catch alot of Coho on flies book for the Stamp in September as it will be nuts.
Our big Salmon so far is 44lbs and the largest Halibuts are in the 150lb range. One of the guests in the last group had 4 tyees.
We have a couple of spots left the summer if your plans are coming together late. At the ship we have Aug 18-21 & Aug 27-30. At the lodge we have Aug 26-29.
We also have some spots in September for Coho if flyfishing is your thing.
Here is the fall link for the river. Fall Fishing Links
