Out on the big office yesterday – testing and fine tuning new gear for the 2011 Savage and Okuma programme!
First mackerel of the year – hit the new Savage Baitholder LipScull – after 1min trolling in 60 feet – the fish measured 47cm! The new Okuma linecounters performed perfect during the hectic downrigger trolling.
After some makrel action – the Vertical jigging on the hot spot produced more than 120 aggressive summer cod for Mads & Robert – including several totally Dark red cod from Mads’ secret wreck!
The new colours and sizes of Savage Gear sandeels – that will complete, Savage Gear’s saltwater softlure series superbly – outfished all other lures!!
