27 kilo´s!!!
Winter is on its way, but the carp season hasn't quite ended yet.
ProLogic consultant Hauke Kleinen was really on his way to Italy for a long planned trip after big catfish. However, since this trip was suddenly cancelled right before departure, Hauke ended up in France fishing for carp. This plan B was going to make for a sensational experience.
“Friend and fishing partner on this trip was Christopher Paschmanns, and we ended up fishing on a lake in France, a barrage that actually gets a lot of pressure. We had planned to fish there the year before but couldn’t find the time. So this was the chance now! As always when us best mates fish together, we acted as a team: I did the navigation work with the boat and echo sounder, he tied and placed the rigs”.
“We are both experienced carp anglers and have had really good sessions in the past. But what we experienced in only four nights topped everything: 30 runs, 29 carp, 9 of which were between 15 and 18.5 kg and 8 above 20 kg up to 27 kg!!! YEEEEEESSSS! All was covered in mud during our short stay. But the very good ProLogic MAX 4 waders did an excellent job as always. The ProLogic clothing kept me warm and dry. Especially the wind stopper Fleece is essential during a late autumn trip. Though most of the fish didn’t fight well, the ProLogic T Carp rods in 12ft, 3lbs test curve acted well”.
