"Hi Folks,
So, here was the one I was after! after some good fish - I took a little break and just watched the water for a while. The water level was very low and the big fish quite vary - but once in a while fish charged at the massive schools of roach. sometimes I often wait and let it all happen - instead of just casting and casting. after some time just watching - a series of attacks and jumping and fleeing roach on the far side - on the edge of the deeper canal - I managed a perfect cast - just on the edge of the area - the hard wind pulling the soft 4play sideways on the drop. Felt the characteristic "nick" in the braid as the lure was inhaled with vacuum from a big perch. Just knew it was the one, I was after - big heavy headshakes and kiting - shortly after she was mine.... at 50,5cm and heavy build - scales went 2100g.. more than 4 1/2lbs!! 9,5cm soft 4play Pearl silver - 5g ball jigg head. X-mas came early!
Hard not to smile – the 2 hour session also gave me several other fish over 1500g+ with fish of 1875g (49cm) and 1925g (49,5cm) and a seatrout of 6kg+ - though hooked on the gill side – one hell of a fish.
Christian KlagenBerg, have had some amazing results lately – with our Alien eel and big bait fish in combination – using our highly praised MP Paravanes for trolling on some bigger dansih lakes – many fish between 8 and 10kg in the boact – with 2 superb 10kg+ fish on top!!
Our Italian Savage Gear consultant, Marco Giudici, is at it again – this time with a superb pike of 110cm and an incredible build and 64cm girth – for sure to be a 13kg+ fish! One more time Marco, used his down shot rig with the Savage Gear dying minnow in Pearl silver fishing directly on a big banana!!"
Only one bite for the whole day – but what a fish!!
