Today I enjoyed a nice day fishing off Warnemünde in company of a friend.
My friend takes over my manual Scotty Downrigger and main task was to teach how the Downrigger works. And we did well, caught many cod with the biggest almost 80 cm. And we also succeeded to avoid bits from seatrouts (season closed until December 15th) – slow trolling speed (max. 4 km/h) and Wobbler fished close to the bottom was the right approach. Top bait today was a Rapala Deep Tail Dancer in fancy colour and Bomber in firetiger.
Tomorrow will be the final fishing with the manual Scotty´s before the electric arrives later this week …
