Kongetobis – the ultimate lure for summer trout’s

“Kongetobis” is a popular name for the biggest sandeels found along the Scandinavian coastline. This lure mimics their size and swimming pattern. When fished with a steady to fast retrieve the front part will break the surface giving you the exact and discrete swimming pattern of a sand eel skimming the surface for food. To make the lure do this the balance has to be just perfect. This is why Kongetobis has been a long time on its way. Now it is finally here and ready to Rock n’ Roll!

Magic Minnow Kongetobis is a really long casting lure and basically you can fish it in two ways. During the warmer months it is perfect for evenings, nights and mornings. It has caught some really huge trout’s while retrieved in a higher pace mimicking sand eels skimming the surface. If you haven’t tried this kind of fishing before, you will be surprised how aggressive and spectacular the strikes are!

In the colder months sand eels tends to stay deeper and move slower. At this time Kongetobis can be fished at a very slow pace. You can use it on shallow water, and you can let it hang in the water or speed up a bit to tease even the most suspicious trout…
