Hungry monster pike..

A little to hungry...

A report from Kinetic test team member Jess Glargaard tells of a remarkable, but far from perfect day:

“The first thing I say on my first pikefishing trip this fall was-Close to the shore a huge pike was lying dead in the surface and there was no doubt that this was one of the bigger fish in the water. The pikes in this water are usually slim, but this fish seemed quite fat. I was curious and went closer to find out if it was dead of old age or something else. As I got a closer look I could see the tail of a smaller pike hanging out of the mouth. The big one had obviously suffocated as it was trying to swallow its prey. The smell was horrible, but I managed to get both fish up on the bank. The length of the big one was 126 cm and the length of the pike it was trying to swallow was 98 cm. This emphasizes the fact that huge pikes sometimes goes for the biggest prey. An impressive experience, but it was also quite sad to see a big fish dead in my favorite water. It will be missed!"
